Refund Policy — TR-GAB

This is the public reference copy. The legally binding version is the one bundled in the TR-GAB Pro application and accepted at first launch. In case of conflict, the bundled version controls.
This Refund Policy is incorporated by reference into the Backoffice Terms of Service. It applies to the one-time Lifetime License purchase for TR-GAB Pro, sold under two pricing cohorts — Founders Cohort ($599) and Early Access Cohort ($1,699) — through trgab.com.
1. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
The Lifetime License is covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee, measured from the date of first activation of TR-GAB Pro. This applies equally to Founders Cohort ($599) and Early Access Cohort ($1,699) purchases.
If you are not satisfied within that window, you may request a full refund by contacting support@trgab.com. We process refunds within 5–10 business days back to your original payment method via Stripe.
No questions asked — we'd rather refund you than have you stuck on something that doesn't fit.
2. Effect of a Refund
- Refund must be requested within 14 days of first activation.
- Upon refund, your Lifetime License is forfeit. Your activation is revoked and your seat binding is released.
- The Lifetime License is a single one-time purchase. Refund does not give rise to any future recurring charge, because there is no recurring charge — and refund therefore does not cancel any “subscription”: there is none.
- One refund per purchaser. We may decline refund requests that show evidence of bad-faith use (for example, extracting exports or scraping data and then refunding).
3. After the 14-Day Window
After the 14-day window from first activation, the one-time Lifetime License payment is non-refundable, regardless of cohort.
Your license remains valid going forward, subject to the licensing mechanism and Plan B continuity provisions described in the Backoffice Terms of Service (Sections 7 and 12).
4. Sales Tax
Stripe Tax automatically calculates and collects applicable U.S. state and local sales tax. When we issue a refund, the collected tax is automatically refunded by Stripe along with the Lifetime License fee. You will not bear the tax cost for a refunded purchase.
5. Cohort Slot After a Founders Refund
When a Founders Cohort refund is granted, the seat is returned to the Founders counter and may be offered to the next waitlist user, subject to internal operational rules. The original purchaser's Lifetime License is fully forfeited and may not be reactivated without a new purchase under the then-current terms (which, if the Founders Cohort has since closed, means the Early Access Cohort price of $1,699).
The Early Access Cohort is open-ended and has no seat counter; refunds simply forfeit the Lifetime License without affecting the offer's availability to other users.
6. Multi-Purchase / Partial Refunds
TR-GAB Pro currently allows one Lifetime License per user and multi-purchase is blocked at checkout in this phase. Partial refunds and multi-license refund mechanics therefore do not apply today.
If multi-purchase is ever enabled in the future, this Refund Policy will be updated to describe the applicable partial-refund mechanics before that change takes effect.
7. Refund Exceptions
In rare cases, refunds may be subject to:
- Stripe chargeback abuse: if you have initiated a chargeback against us via your card issuer, we may decline a parallel refund request to avoid double-payment. Disputes via chargeback are resolved through your card issuer's process.
- Fraudulent activity: if your account is associated with fraudulent payment, account or license sharing, or violation of the Acceptable Use section of our Terms of Service, we may decline a refund and terminate your account without prejudice to any other remedies.
- Refund requested more than 14 days after first activation: subject to Section 3 (non-refundable).
8. How to Request a Refund
Send an email to support@trgab.com with:
- Subject line:
Refund Request — [your email] - Body: brief explanation (helps us improve — optional but appreciated).
We will respond on a best-effort basis to confirm processing. Refund settlement to your card or bank account typically takes 5–10 business days depending on your payment method and card issuer.
If your refund hasn't arrived after 15 business days, contact us again with subject line Refund Status — [your email].
9. California Consumer Rights
If you are a resident of California, this Refund Policy is in addition to any non-waivable rights you have under California consumer protection law (CCPA / CPRA, Business and Professions Code §17600 et seq.). Nothing in this Refund Policy limits those rights.
10. Changes to This Refund Policy
We may update this Refund Policy. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice by email. Changes apply only to purchases made after the effective date of the change; existing Lifetime License holders are honored under the policy in effect at the time of their purchase.
